Our company is meant to foster the Actor's career and community, we ask that discussions fall within those boundaries. However, as actors we get to be active in the community as empaths and an expression of the human condition. We encourage all discussions of how to build equity within the industry.
We hired, Geri Brown (a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Consultant with Equitable Sunshine Collective) who continues to coach me (Jodie) and my team.
Our entire team completed a full DEI Training and we stay committed to additional training led by Black women and people of color.
We’ve updated our Facebook community guidelines in our private and public Facebook groups, articulating what is acceptable conduct in our spaces, what is not tolerated, and how we are striving to create a safe and valuable experience for everyone in our community.
We amplify BIPOC and marginalized voices within our Facebook communities and all social platforms, and continue to do more. Moving forward, we strive to add more diversity to our team.
We are in the process of creating scholarships for Black and marginalized voices in our community for all our online programs. We trust these will be ready by June 2022.
